The HSI Basic Life Support (BLS) program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in high-quality CPR skills and teamwork for the adult, child, and infant.
HSI Basic Life Support (BLS) reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and it conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update.
HSI First Aid | CPR AED program is for participants to gain knowledge and skills in first aid and/or CPR for adult, child, and infant.
This course allows you the flexibility to learn and get certified in any of the following course combination options:

Pet First Aid and Disaster Response is designed to help pet owners provide temporary, urgent care to pets until they can reach a veterinary or emergency clinic. The text will teach readers to care for their animals before, during, and after an emergency.
Sports First Aid and Injury Prevention teaches coaches and trainers how to administer basic first aid to sick and injured athletes as well as ways to prevent illnesses and injuries from occurring.
Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED is ideal for use within training courses designed to certify individuals in first aid, CPR, and AED, and is the center of an integrated teaching and learning system that offers many resources to better support instructors and prepare students to learn life-saving skills.
This ECSI CPR/AED and first aid training course meets Boy Scouts of America (BSA) training requirements.
Our 8-hour Core Course: Wilderness First Aid provides hands-on training and practical scenarios to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to respond effectively to wilderness emergencies. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, a professional guide, or an adventurer, this course will prepare you to handle medical emergencies in remote settings. Join us and be prepared for any adventure!
Our 16-hour Intermediate Course: Wilderness First Aid not only equips you with remote first aid knowledge and skills but also prepares you to earn Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Wilderness First Aid Certification. Youth (14 years old and up) and adult Scout leaders are encouraged to take this course, which aligns with the specific curriculum developed by Scouts BSA. This certification includes a management dimension that most courses fail to address.
Our 36-hour Comprehensive Course: Wilderness First Aid is led by experienced emergency medical professionals, this course combines classroom instruction, hands-on practice, and scenario-based learning to ensure that you are prepared to respond effectively to medical emergencies in the wilderness. Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals, trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED trains anyone with little or no medical training to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.
Heartsaver® CPR AED trains participants to give CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Heartsaver® First Aid trains participants in first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.
Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED trains participants how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.
Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Heartsaver® for K-12 Schools is for K-12 school students, faculty, and staff who successfully complete an AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver CPR AED, or Heartsaver First Aid Course. “Faculty” refers to teachers and coaches; “staff” refers to an employee of a K-12 school, or K-12 school system
Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for community groups, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
CPR, First Aid, and AED you will earn a certification that satisfies OSHA-mandated job requirements, workplace or other regulatory requirements, and is valid for 2 years. From personalized learning to interactive scenarios to peer-to-peer learning and hands-on skill practice, our courses are developed and taught by experts, and ensure you can provide life-saving care when it's needed most.
